Anomalous of behavior
During a scan-based surveys (Escolà-Gascón, Romero de Tejada and Cartañá, 2014), we realized that most of the paranormal believing subjects, –gathered from our sample study– conceptualized anomalous experiences as «paranormal phenomena». They gave examples such as «seeing ghosts», «seeing spirits», «talking to the dead» or «feeling the presence of the devil». Why are these experiences called «anomalous experiences»? The following article deals with the concept of «anomalous experiences» implications in academic environments and possible controversies.
